Online Training on “Safer Internet Day”

Safer Internet Day is observed every year on the second week Tuesday of February with an aim to provide safer and better internet, where every user gets to use the internet responsibly and without getting their data leaked. It is celebrated worldwide to encourage the safe and constructive use of digital technology for youngsters, and to stir the usage of technology dutifully, courteously, and critically. As an effort to orient various stakeholders on safer use of the internet, CIET-NCERT is organizing a panel discussion set-up on ‘Safer Internet Day’ on February 8, 2022, focusing on the theme of ‘Gaming: Together for Safer Environment’.

Objectives
  • To orient various stakeholders on Safety concerns associated with safer use of the internet.
  • To enable all the youngsters to comprehend what establishes reverential behavior online on gaming platforms, and know the steps to be taken if they encounter any wrongdoing concentrating on them or someone else.
  • To discuss the activities that can be conducted as part of creating awareness on offenses by and on learners in cyberspace.
