Online Training on
“Open Educational Resources (OER) and Licenses”
Open Educational Resources (OER) offer opportunities for sustainable growth in improving the access and quality of education, by enabling the use of learning materials that are free, easily accessible and hold high quality. Keeping in view the diverse needs of learners, now use of eContent has become an essential component of the teaching and learning processes. Impact of COVID-19 in the education sector has shown a major shift to the development of digital content in teaching-learning procedures, wherein the platform of DIKSHA has played a crucial role. As an effort to orient various stakeholders in the exploration and implementation of Open Educational Resources and Licensing, CIET-NCERT in collaboration with CEMCA-COL, is organizing a five-day online training on “Open Educational Resources (OER) and Licenses” from April 25-29, 2022, as part of the online training series.
CEMCA-COL focuses on assisting governments and institutions to expand the scale, efficiency and quality of learning by using multiple media in open, distance and technology-enhanced learning. The strategic objective of CEMCA is to promote cooperation and collaboration in the use of electronic media resources for distance education.
