Online Training on
Safety and Security in Digital Space
India assumes the G20 Presidency and convenes the G20 Leaders' Summit for the first time in the country in 2023. A nation deeply committed to democracy and multilateralism, India's G20 Presidency would be a watershed moment in her history as it seeks to play an important role by finding pragmatic global solutions for the wellbeing of all, and in doing so, manifest the true spirit of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' or the 'World is One Family'. As a part of G20, three working groups were organized and the fourth education working group will be conducted in June 2023 at Pune, Maharashtra. As a procure event, Jan Bhagidari, an event to encourage community participation, is being organized.
As a part of Jan Bhagidari events, CIET-NCERT is conducting various activities online. With this in view, CIET-NCERT is organizing a five hours online training on “Safety and Security in Digital Space” from 5-9 June, 2023 from 4.00 pm - 5.00 pm to leverage the understanding of teachers, students, teacher educators, administrators, and other stakeholders of school education on the Safety and Security in Digital Space for teaching, learning and assessment. The online training will be live telecasted on NCERT official YouTube channel-https://www.youtube.com/c/NCERTOFFICIAL and also be simulcast through PMeVidya DTH TV channels numbered #6-12 and Jio TV mobile app.
Objectives
The objective of this online training is to orient in-service & pre-service teachers, teacher educators, students, parents and other stakeholders of school education on the concept of cyber Safety and Security in different areas in order to ensure safety during the online learning process.
