Five Hours Online Training Series
“Instructional Design for Techno-Pedagogy Integration”
Techno-Pedagogy, the integration of pedagogy and technology, marks a paradigm shift in education. It moves beyond the mere use of digital tools and instead focuses on how these tools can enhance teaching and learning processes. Central to this shift is instructional design, which systematically develops learning experiences that are effective, engaging, and aligned with clearly defined learning outcomes.
This approach leverages a variety of educational technologies such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), interactive simulations, and AI-driven personalization to create dynamic and responsive learning environments. The goal is to support learners not just in acquiring knowledge, but in developing skills for critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity.
The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCFSE) 2023 emphasizes the significance of this integration by promoting inquiry-based, inclusive, and project-driven learning. Instructional design within Techno-Pedagogy begins with a clear understanding of learners’ needs and context, and then selects appropriate tools and strategies to support differentiated instruction, peer engagement, and continuous formative assessment.
A critical enabler of this integration is teacher professional development. Educators must be equipped not only with technical know-how but also with the pedagogical expertise to design, implement, and continually refine technology-enhanced lessons. This ongoing capacity building empowers teachers to become innovators in the classroom, leading to continuous improvement and sustainable educational transformation.
In essence, instructional design for Techno-Pedagogical integration helps create meaningful, student-centered learning environments where technology is not an add-on, but a catalyst that supports sound pedagogy and deep learning.
Aligned with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020, CIET-NCERT is organising a five hours online training series titled “Instructional Design for Techno-Pedagogy Integration” which will be conducted 15 - 19 September, 2025 in English version and 22 - 26 September, 2025 in Hindi version from 4 PM to 5 PM.
